Perhaps, like me, the conditioning came early for you too: an unwritten code for how we should be and what we should do growing up.
Our tendency is then to always look out for what will make us more acceptable, and ensure that we tick those boxes. Which is, frankly, a waste of time, energy and focus.
I know that I do my best work when I ‘disappear’: my perception of who I am or how I appear to others is no longer part of the picture. I can be fully present and of service.
